I believe:

• Most people only want to be happy
• Most people deny themselves happiness
• Most people are more affected by others more then they want to admit
• The only way to find happiness is know who you are and sticking to it
• Most people do not want to work hard enough to figure out who they are
• Being happy means taking emotional risks
• You need to make sure others know how you feel about them
• Most people will not stand alone for the right reasons
• Music holds the key to explaining who you are.
Get a theme song that describes you
• Nobody wants to be alone
• Being alone is easier
• It does not matter how you meet someone it matters who they are
• Fix / change / remove the elements that do not make you happy
• People forget you cannot change someone else
• Making tough decisions is a part of life
• Try not to hurt others but still be true to yourself
• Happiness is never a thing something you can truly experience alone
• Being selfless can be selfish in a good way
• Money does not make you happy but can mask unhappiness to an unhealthy level
• Most people are not satisfied with what they have and want what they cannot have… Be grateful
• Most people are too hung up what someone looks like rather than who you are
• People put too much emphasis on work accomplishments rather than life accomplishments.
• People (myself included) wear how many hours they work as a badge of honor… most people pity them
• Be careful when making commitments… once you make one do whatever it takes to keep it.
• Truer words have never been spoken “Don’t make someone a priority in your life when you’re only an option in theirs”
• If someone is making excuses to not be with you, you are not a priority to them
• You need to say how you feel no matter the risk
• People look for scapegoats - it much more difficult to take responsibility for your own actions.
• Don’t trust anyone that won’t have a drink with you.
• Everyone has baggage and finding someone is about having compatible baggage.
• Young kids do not understand dating; you have to be careful when introducing them to someone.
• As Bruce Springsteen sang “you have to live with what you can’t rise above”.
• You should be truthful in thoughts, words and deeds!
• You need to be transparent in all relationships
• Being intimate with someone is the ultimate gift… does not take it lightly
• You need to remember just because your excited does not mean they are!
• Sometimes people really are bitches and there is nothing you can do about it!
• Everything is better with chocolate
